Dani's Dream is a private, personal health companion built as a birthday gift for one person. It is not for sale, it is not on the App Store, and it has no commercial agenda.
Because it is personal, privacy is not a setting we turned on—it is how the app was engineered from the very first line of code. There are no tracking scripts, no remote databases, and no cloud servers.
1. Built for one person
Dani's Dream is private software intended solely for its recipient. There are no accounts, no sign-in screens, no passwords, and no remote profiles.
2. Everything stays on your phone
All your meals, nutrition budgets, plans, body weight entries, and personal notes are stored locally on your device. None of this data is ever transmitted to an external server or remote database.
3. Apple Health data stays on your phone
With your permission, Dani's Dream reads steps, active energy, workouts, and sleep duration from Apple Health. This access is strictly read-only and used solely to show daily context on your screen. Your Apple Health data never leaves your device.
4. No tracking, no ads, no cloud health storage
The app contains:
- No analytics SDKs to monitor what you tap or view.
- No advertising SDKs or data-sharing networks.
- No third-party model APIs or remote AI services.
- No iCloud storage of personal health data.
- No server or backend infrastructure of any kind.
5. On-device AI processing
When you type meal descriptions, any natural language interpretation runs locally on your iPhone using Apple's on-device Foundation Models. Your typed words are processed on your device and are never sent anywhere over the internet.
6. You control exports
Data leaves your device only if and when you explicitly choose to export a backup file through the standard iOS share sheet (for instance, to save a copy to your own storage or share it directly). There is no automatic cloud sync or silent background export.
7. Questions or contact
If you have any questions about this policy or the app, contact Gilbert directly at gilbert.aboujaoudeh@gmail.com.
